My name is Alicja, and I run Studio 88 in Coventry. I am a classically trained pianist with over a decade of formal musical education and 18 years of experience playing the piano. My teaching combines technical discipline with musical imagination, helping students build both confidence and expressive ability.
I work with beginners, intermediate students, and those preparing for ABRSM examinations. Lessons are structured yet personalised, with careful attention to technique, musical understanding, and long-term development.
I believe that learning the piano should be both structured and enjoyable. My goal is to help students develop strong musical foundations while also building confidence and curiosity at the instrument. Each lesson is adapted to the student’s pace and goals, whether they are learning for enjoyment or working towards examinations.
Studio 88
Why 88? A standard piano has 88 keys, and becoming familiar with the keyboard is one of the most important foundations of learning piano.
In my studio, students gradually learn to recognise notes both on the keyboard and on the music sheet, building confidence in reading, technique, and musical understanding.
Lessons are structured yet relaxed, supporting steady progress while helping students enjoy the process of making music.
